About Naftuli

Naftuli Moster is a New York Jewish leader and social entrepreneur. He is the founder of Yaffed, Young Advocates for Fair Education, which he led for ten years.

Naftuli grew up in a Hasidic family, the middle child of seventeen children. He attended Hasidic Yeshivas, and the challenges that resulted from it led him to found Yaffed. Mr. Moster has been recognized for his work and leadership by numerous respected entities. He was named in the New York Jewish Week’s “36 Under 36” and in the Jewish Daily Forward’s 50 list, he received the selective and prestigious Wexner Field Fellowship, and he became a member of the Schusterman’s ROI Community. Most recently, he was named in Hunter College’s inaugural “40 Under 40” list. 

Throughout his years at Yaffed, Naftuli met with dozens of Jewish leaders, hundreds of elected officials and candidates, and advocates across the world. He has spoken at dozens of public events and has been quoted in hundreds of news articles and TV and radio segments. He now consults other organizations and initiatives. 

Mr. Moster and his wife and two young children live in Rockland County, NY.
